+ How can I get a media credential?

Download and fill out a media credential application form. Please email completed form to Stephanie Ryan at sryan@orda.org or fax to (518) 523-9275. For more information, please contact Stephanie at (518) 523-1655 ext. 216 or email sryan@orda.org.

+ Where is the press center located?

Whiteface Press Center

The press center will be located in the rear of the Food Court at Whiteface Mountain, 10 miles northeast of Lake Placid. We will have telephones, fax machine and high-speed wireless internet access.

Olympic Jumping Complex Press Center

The press room is located on the second floor of the base lodge at the Olympic Jumping Complex. It is accessed from Rt. 73 in Lake Placid. Just pull into the parking lot and turn left. We will have telephones, fax machine and high-speed wireless internet access.

+ What services will be offered in the press center?

The press center will be equipped with high-speed, wireless internet service. Just bring an Ethernet card or cable. We will also provide telephones, fax and copier.

Most importantly, the press room will be catered. We will serve hot and cold beverages all day. Lunch will be served each day of competition.

+ Will there be press conferences?

Media will be able to interview athletes in a mix zone upon conclusion of their final runs. The mix zone is located at the base of the aerial landing hill and at the bottom of the skiercross competition trail.

Upon the conclusion of each World Cup event, there will also be a press conference with the medal winners in the Olympic press center.
