Whiteface 5K Downhill Race
A rip roaring good time bombing down the sickest mountian in the east. $5,000 cash purse for pro riders. WOO HOO!! Can you survive 2500' of vertical? The course is 2 1/2 mile ride with mixed technical singletrack and fast open sections. Nobody will break 7 minutes. Better start training.
- When: Sunday, September 3, 2006 11:00 AM
- Fees: $25.00 for registration plus lift tickets
($30.00 per day or $55.00 for a 2 day pass). - Registration: Registration will be available at the mountain, but the race is limited to 200 racers. To register online, visit active.com
- Licenses: N.O.R.B.A. licenses will be availabe for 1 day or annual. These are required for this N.O.R.B.A. sanctioned race.
- Practice: Both courses pro/expert & the sport/beginner will be open until 1/2 hour before the race starts. 10:30 am for the pro/expert & approx. 12:30 pm for the sport/beginner course.
