Harlem Globetrotters
One of the greatest family entertainment acts of all time – the Harlem Globetrotters and their signature theme song "Sweet Georgia Brown" – will return to Lake Placid this winter.
The Globetrotters will bring their lineup of talented basketball players and humorous skits to the Lake Placid Olympic Center on Feb. 21, 2006 at 7 pm. The ‘Trotters will tip off against their usual nemesis Washington Generals in the 1980 Rink Herb Brooks Arena.
The Harlem Globetrotters last visited the two-time Winter Olympic village in February 2004 and delighted some 5,500 boisterous fans. It is anticipated that the 2006 edition of the group will elicit a similar response.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the Olympic Center Box Office by calling 518-523-3330. or on-line at www.tickets.com. Magic Circle floor seats are priced at $45 per person; VIP courtside tickets in Rows A-G are $30 each; other locations are $18.50, $16 and $12.50.
