> Lake Placid is the site for the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Championship, to be held in March. This will mark the third straight year that the Olympic Center has hosted the top DIII players in the nation. All of the details may be found here.
> The 2013 FIBT World Bobsled and Skeleton Championships will be held in Lake Placid. ORDA and the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation will once again host this prestigious event, prior to the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games.
